Position Details

The City of East Dubuque, Illinois (population 1704) is seeking an experienced and consultative leader as its next Police Chief.

The current chief is retiring after 23 years of service to the community. The department has six full-time sworn officers including the Chief. The annual operating budget is $500,000.

AA or BA degree in related field and 3-5 years' law enforcement supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Salary range for the position is:

$55,000 to $65,000 depending on qualifications with an excellent benefit package
