POLICE CHIEF

SALEM, IL

Independent, full-service City located in south-central Illinois located on Interstate 57 and US Rt. 50 seeks proven municipal law enforcement professional to lead Police Department with 18 sworn and 8 civilian FT, unionized employees. $2.3 million budget.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required.
• Progressive and significant supervisory and command experience required.
• Experience in all aspects of municipal law enforcement and community-oriented policing/service required.
• B.A. desirable.
• Residency encouraged.
