The Lake Forest Police Department has 40 sworn officers, 6 civilian employees, 11 part-time civilian employees, and a $13.5 million budget. The Police Management Analyst is appointed by the Chief of Police and reports to the Deputy Chief of Administration. The position will assist in the administration, coordination, and implementation of various governmental functions and special programs/projects within the police department. This position requires a person to be detail-oriented and able to follow through with complex assignments. The work includes basic and advanced project management, program research and data analysis, the assembly of factual information through research and study, writing reports, preparing documents and presentations. This is a full-time, non-union, civilian position.
The Chief will consider equivalent combination of experience and education, which provides the knowledge, abilities and skills required for the job.
